BioBrillouin Society

What is BioBrillouin?

BioBrillouin is a pan-European network established to advance the field of Brillouin Light Scattering as applied for life science and biomedical research and applications. Networking activities are funded largely by the EU COST grant (CA16124).

The Memorandum of Understanding for this COST action can be downloaded here. The COST Vademecum (“Vade mecum!” is Latin and stands for “go with me”) is the handbook of COST rules and guidelines.

COST is an EU-funded programme that enables researchers to set up their interdisciplinary research networks in Europe and beyond. It provides funds for organising conferences, meetings, training schools, short scientific exchanges or other networking activities in a wide range of scientific topics. By creating open spaces where people and ideas can grow, it unlocks the full potential of science. For further information on COST please visit http://www.cost.eu/. Information on how to to participate in a COST action can be found on the COST website (www.cost.eu/participate).
